WTEO 2004 Turkey Summer Camps 

Summer camps which are regularly held and orginised 3 or 4 times a year in Turkey by Sifu Salih AVCI, head of WTEO, will be held 3 times in Turkey this year. Even the exact dates are not clear yet, probable dates and places are given below. As always, participants will first practice Avci Escrima and then Avci Wing Tsun. The camp will be instructed by Sifu Salih AVCI. Students  are not obliged to participate all five days. They can join according to their tims and schedules. Also the ones who wants to be tested by Sİfu AVCI can join the camps for only to have a test.

Sihing HASAN AKIN, in Ankara

 We have already announced in our web site that Sihing Hasan AKIN has gone to Russian Federation for his job and now lives there.

 

According to the information Sihing Ahmet Cem RESULOĞLU, head of the Ankara WTEO School, has given us; Sihing AKIN will be in Ankara in the first half of February following the Bayram and will instruct lessons in Ankara WTEO School to which all the students can participate.

A NEW SIHING FROM ANKARA WTEO  SCHOOLS

Ankara WTEO Schools are well known for their hard work and practice of WT under Sihing AKIN. Number of students are increasing day by day. Also levels of student are increasing. Numbers of new Sihings, as well.Serkan BAYRAKTAR, who is studying DSc in Bilkent University Computer Engineering  Dept, started WT in the mentioned university. He was very hard working also for WT and Escrima. So he improved soon. As Sihing AKIN left Ankara, Serkan BAYRAKTAR will instruct the WTEO trainings in Bilkent University under Sihing Cem RESULOĞLU. Congratuliations SERKAN BAYRAKTAR as the new SIHING in WTEO.

SIHING RESULOĞLU in  ANKARA

Ankara WTEO Schools living important changes these days. Avci WT and Escrima started in Ankara in 2000 when Sihing AKIN settled in Ankara.Now, Sihing Ahmet Cem RESULOĞLU is the new instructer for WTEO trainings in Ankara as Sihing AKIN has left to Russian Federation. Sihing Ahmet Cem RESULOĞLU, also the highest rank student of Sihing AKIN, is a 12th student level diploma holder and now practices for 1st Instructers Degree.  He started teaching WT in Samsun and has an experience of teaching more than four years.

SIHING AKIN in RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Sihing Hasan AKIN ( 1. Instructers Degree), Ankara WTEO School Instructer and WTEO Regional Coordinator has left  Ankara for his job and settled in Russian Federation. In his more than 10 years of WT life, Sihing AKIN (1.ID) had to change the cities he lived  a few times. Starting WT by Sihing Turgay ÖRNEK in Samsun, he had been to Hong Kong and China and returned Samsun. For his job in the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, he settled in Ankara in 2000. He started Avcı WT and Escrima trainings in Ankara in 2000. Now he started his new job in the Turkish General Consulate in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russian Federation. Under normal conditions his post is for four years and then he will return to Ankara.  He was a great action man for Avci WT and Escrima wherever he had been.  So we hope he will be the person to start Avci WT in the Russian Federation.

2003 Preparatory Program for WTEO Summer Camp.

It has already been anounced in our website that Sihing Hasan AKIN will organise a dense preparatory program ( Click for details) for the students who are to join the WTEO Summer Camp but could not join the lessons regulary.

The schedule for the program is:

June 24, 2003 Thursday : 19.00-22.00
June 25, 2003 Friday     : 19.00-22.00
June 26, 2003 Saturday : 14.00-19.00
June 27, 2003 Sunday   : 14.00-19.00

Preparatory Program for WTEO IInd Summer Camp.

Sihing Hasan AKIN, Ankara Regional Coordinator, will organize a preparatory program for the WTEO Ankara students between July 24-27 to make them ready for the Summer Camp.By the way, the students who had to stop trainings because of the summer holiday can improve themselves and be ready for the Summer Camp.

The program is open only for the WTEO students of Ankara,and the ones who stopped trainings because of the summer holiday or the ones who will take their exams in the Summer Camp join the preparatory program.
The program is free of charge but the ones to join should contact Sihing AKIN prior to the program.

The number of participants is limited to 15 students and the details will be announced in our web site later.

WTEO 2003 Second Summer Camp.

Second of the WTEO Summer Camps, first of which has been held in Kemer between May 12-16, will be held in Istanbul for the first time between July 30- August 03.
Even the schedule of the camp is not clear yet, trainings will be done on the Hisars, Bosphorus and the islands. Participants will come together in the WTEO Academy in Istanbul.

Students of Ankara should contact Sihing Hasan AKIN before the camp. Any other person to get detailed information on the camp can call Sifu Mustafa SAHIN from (0532)682 62 48.

WTEO Summer Camps

The schedule of 2003 WTEO Summer Camps is below. The camps were organized in Anamur and Antalya in recent years. Istanbul is identified as a new location for this year. The dates are as below:

1st Camp:  May 12-16, 2003 (Antalya)(Completed)

2nd Camp: July 30 - August 03, 2003 ( İstanbul)
